• Tech Time Out.

Large and small cooperative group games, basketball and dodgeball are just a few of the fun things we will do. Tech Time Out will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays in the morning, and every child who wants to participate will be able to because we encourage team building and exercise. Sunrise Park is where we usually hold these activities. This is a fun way to get your energy out in a positive way.

  • Weekly Themes.

Animals, Cooking, Science, Water Play, Building and Nature are just some of the themes for the summer. Many of our enrichment activities will be tied into that theme of the week.

  • Field Trips.

As you can tell from the schedule, field trips will be usually planned on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Many of our field trips are coordinated with our weekly themes. There are age requirements for several of the field trips we offer. If you don’t wish your child to go on a particular field trip, there will always be many fun activities going on at Redwood. The field trips are planned to offer the children experiences outside of our camp, but please remember they are not the heart of the program. All field trips are at an additional charge, and sign-ups will be posted on the bulletin board weekly. Each parent is responsible for signing up his or her child, and Redwood staff/office staff will not be responsible for signing your child up for a particular field trip.

  • Swim Day.

Field trip will run like our regular field trip days. There will be an additional fee for this swim day. This is an optional Swim Day field trip. (Everyone will still swim on Fridays.)

  • Friday Swim Day

every Friday afternoon, we will all go to B pool in town for open swim. It’s the most popular activity we do in the summer months!

  • Hot Lunches

are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays of each week. The cost is $5.00 per lunch. Lunches need to be paid for no later than the day before the scheduled hot lunch day. Redwood does not supply lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You will be called to come bring your child a lunch if they arrive without one to Redwood.

  • Giving Back Pack:

Community Involvement Projects will be continuously pursued throughout our summer program. We supply opportunities for the oldest children at Redwood to get involved with activities to better our community—from collecting needed supplies for outreach programs dealing with people and children in hospitals. We will also have guest speakers come out to visit us at the school.
